Lessons with Albert are always fun and he is fantastic at keeping his students engaged and focused. As a parent, I'm always amazed to see how well he keeps his students on-task. I put it down to how much they are enjoying themselves!

Albert is able to perfectly assess the child's skill level, and then push the child out of their comfort zone to the next level. We often come away from a lesson with a new piece wondering 'how on earth will they ever be able to play this!" but Albert knows exactly how far he can push them to get their playing to the next level. Albert breaks down the music into easy steps so that even the most complicated parts make sense - over the years Albert has taught our child 'building blocks' which provide a strong foundation in his teaching. The pieces Albert chooses always have a purposeful teaching point, as well as being fun to play.

I cannot heap enough praise on Albert as he made the impossible possible. Our son 8 years old is being taught to play the drums for one year now and we are just about start the 2nd year. He looks forward to each lesson which is a rather rare occurrence. Apart from learning to play the drums as a skill, it has also helped with cognitive development. The lessons are both structured and fun. Albert manages to keep our student engaged throughout the lesson. Home practice are never a battle.
